 Meet Jodi Meagher

Leading Customer Experience at Lab-Aids

If you ask Jodi Meagher what drives her professionally, she'll tell you it's creating exceptional experiences for every customer she works with.

With a passion for organization, problem solving, and helping others, Jodi has built her career around delivering outstanding customer service. That foundation started at Northeastern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning recognition as an Excellence Scholar, Starr Foundation Scholar, Dean's List honoree, and NSCS member. From there, Jodi spent fifteen years working across a range of industries, building the operational frameworks and leadership skills that would eventually shape how she leads at Lab-Aids. That varied path gave her a wide lens on what strong customer experience actually requires, no matter the industry, and it's the reason she was able to build something so effective when she arrived.

Throughout her career, Jodi has believed that every interaction is an opportunity to make a lasting impression. That customer first mindset has shaped her professional journey and continues to guide her work each day.

In 2023, Jodi joined the Lab-Aids team, where she leads the customer service department and oversees the overall customer experience. From order processing and support operations to coordinating with the Sales, Product, and Production teams, she works to ensure schools receive their science and math curriculum materials efficiently while providing the support educators need before, during, and after adoption.

Since joining Lab-Aids, Jodi has helped transform the company's customer service operations. She built the customer service function and customer experience measurement framework from the ground up, establishing key performance indicators across multiple departments and implementing the company's first formal customer feedback loop. Her work has helped strengthen operational efficiency while keeping the needs of educators and schools at the center of every decision.

As Jodi explains, "Throughout my career, my focus has always been on going beyond what a customer expects - anticipating the needs they haven't thought of yet and finding ways to surprise them with how much we care."

For Jodi, those customers are the teachers and administrators who take on one of the most demanding jobs there is. Every day, they are balancing classrooms, district approvals, budget cycles, curriculum planning, and the unique needs of their students, often while working with limited time and resources.

That is why Jodi believes great customer service goes far beyond processing orders or answering questions. She sees the Lab-Aids customer service team as the connection between an educator's vision for their classroom and the curriculum that brings that vision to life. Whether a teacher is working to get materials into students' hands before an important unit or an administrator is navigating district approvals under a tight deadline, her team's goal is to remove obstacles and make the process as seamless as possible. Every system, process, and interaction is designed to help educators spend less time worrying about logistics and more time doing what they do best, inspiring and growing young minds.

As a mother of two, Jodi has a deep appreciation for the work educators do every day. That perspective shapes the experience she and her team strive to create at every touchpoint. She wants every teacher and administrator to feel seen, supported, and valued from their very first interaction with Lab-Aids.

Whether she's collaborating across departments, improving internal processes, or helping schools navigate their curriculum orders, Jodi is committed to making every customer interaction as seamless and positive as possible. Her dedication to continuous improvement ensures educators have a trusted partner they can rely on throughout the entire process.

Outside of work, Jodi enjoys planning memorable events, whether it's celebrating a milestone, organizing a birthday party, or bringing people together through thoughtful details. She is also fluent in American Sign Language, having grown up with two deaf parents, an experience that has shaped her communication skills and appreciation for meaningful connection.

Whether she's turning the pages of a suspenseful thriller or attending a live concert, Jodi enjoys experiences that allow her to recharge and explore new interests. With a wide ranging and eclectic taste in music, she's always excited to discover a new favorite artist or see live performances whenever she can.

For Jodi, exceptional customer service is about more than solving problems. It's about building relationships, creating positive experiences, and helping educators feel supported every step of the way. Those values continue to guide her work at Lab-Aids as she helps schools successfully implement the resources they need to inspire student learning.
