EDC Earth Science combines hands-on investigations, real-world data, and engaging activities that empower students to think, explore, and problem-solve like true scientists.
Students perform over 59 data-intensive Earth Science investigations, all set in real-world contexts.
They also engage in a variety of other activities, including topical fiction and non-fiction readings and research projects and presentations that build critical life and scientific literacy skills.

Alongside hardbound print books, materials are available in an online portal with rolling resource updates.
Students navigate activities through section tabs and respond directly within the platform, which also includes simulations, LABsent® for missed labs, Spanish text, and embedded assessments
