Our Story

At Lab-Aids, we enrich student learning through active engagement, interactive exploration, and collaborative thinking to enlighten minds.

Lab-Aids has spent the last 60+ years helping students make sense of tough concepts by giving them a chance to learn through doing–with curriculum and supplemental programs built around real, hands-on experiences.

What we stand for.

Our Core Values: The Pillars of Our Excellence

Empire State of Mind

More than 60 years ago, our founder, Morton Frank, decided to leave the classroom and start Lab-Aids. His goal was simple–he wanted to make it easier for educators to get their hands on high-quality, research-based materials that really work in the classroom.

In 1963, Lab-Aids officially got its start on Long Island, NY, creating supplemental classroom kits to help teachers bring concepts to life with hands-on, engaging activities.

Designed For You

Because we manufacture much of our own science materials, Lab-Aids is uniquely positioned to provide unique solutions for custom curricular projects. With the support of our development and professional learning teams, we can put together a full package to meet the needs for corporate community efforts, district and state level projects, and customized curriculum.

Proudly Made & Assembled In The U.S.A.

We are proud of our history supporting American jobs and manufacturing in our facility located on Long Island, NY.
