Our Roots and Core Values
Lab-Aids began when our founder, Morton Frank, left the classroom to create high-quality, research-based materials teachers could trust.
Since then, we’ve grown from a supplemental-kit maker into a full-service education publisher. He established a few core goals—still central to Lab-Aids today:
- Reducing instructor preparation time so they can focus on what they entered the classroom to do: teach.
- Developing effective equipment and classroom kits to support lessons, experiments and activities that bring concepts to life.
- Implementing high-quality instructional materials that are rooted in the best practices of inquiry-based secondary science education.
