From Science Teacher to National Sales Manager
If you ask Stephanie Wallace about her career path, she will tell you she was the only person surprised she became a teacher.
A lifelong science enthusiast, Stephanie has always been driven by curiosity and a passion for understanding the world around her. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Conservation and initially imagined a future centered on research. That passion eventually led her into the classroom, where she discovered how much she enjoyed helping students explore scientific concepts through hands-on learning and discovery.
Stephanie spent several years teaching middle school science in Massachusetts, an experience that strengthened her commitment to education and student success. During that time, she also earned a Master's Degree in Science Teaching with a focus on urban school districts. Her work in the classroom gave her firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities educators face every day, while also reinforcing the importance of making science engaging, accessible, and relevant for all learners.
In 2016, Stephanie joined the Lab-Aids team as the sales representative for the northeastern United States. Her background as an educator allowed her to connect naturally with teachers and school leaders, understanding their needs from the perspective of someone who had spent years in their shoes. She quickly found that she could continue supporting science education in a new way by helping schools implement programs that encourage active learning and student engagement.
Today, Stephanie serves as National Sales Manager, working with school districts across the country to support high-quality math and science instruction. One of the aspects of her role she enjoys most is designing and facilitating workshops for teachers featuring Lab-Aids programs. Helping educators feel confident, supported, and excited about their work is what motivates her each day.
As Stephanie puts it, "The best part of my job is when a teacher comes up to me after we do an activity and tells me how excited they are to try it out with their students. It makes my day every time."

Whether she is leading professional learning sessions, collaborating with district leaders, or meeting educators at conferences and events, Stephanie remains passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences. Her journey from science student to classroom teacher to national education leader reflects her dedication to both science and the people who teach it.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. She can often be found kayaking, walking her dog, or exploring a new city while traveling for work. Whenever she visits schools around the country, she likes to add a little adventure to the trip by seeking out local attractions and hidden gems along the way.
For Stephanie, education has always been rooted in curiosity, connection, and discovery. Those values continue to guide her work at Lab-Aids as she helps empower educators and inspire the next generation of learners.
