Beth Coleman Nickles has been teaching middle school science in Massachusetts for 14 years and is currently honored to be teaching 8th grade science at Duxbury Middle School. Beth received her BS in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection as part of the Corps of Cadets from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1999. She earned a post-baccalaureate in Middle School Education from Bridgewater University and an MEd in Science Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. In 2018, Beth was awarded a Massachusetts State Educator award with an Official Citation at the State House. Beth is a licensed yoga instructor and is passionate about weaving SEL strategies into every class. She lives with her husband and their circus of four children and a menagerie of animals in Kingston Massachusetts.
