Executive VP and Chief Academic Officer

To teach is to make a life long commitment to learning - for our students and for ourselves. Lab-Aids can help teachers acquire new content and skills, whether they are veteran teachers, new to the profession, or somewhere in between.

Mark joined Lab-Aids® in 1999, where he has oversight for all academic product development and training for the company. He works with author groups based at colleges across the U.S. to develop curriculum programs, and leads a network of more than 50 external consultants who provide a variety of professional development and training services to client districts. He is also the company liaison for higher education, managing relationships with colleges and universities.

He has been Assistant Director for the Science Education for Public Understanding Program (SEPUP), an NSF-funded science curriculum development project at the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, Berkeley. His publications include books, book chapters, journal articles and curriculum materials, and he has led professional development workshops for thousands of unfortunate science teachers over the years.
