As a science educator and leader in public education for almost 20 years, Susan has a strong understanding of the needs of science educators and the programs they seek to support their classrooms. She firmly believes that science is for all students.

Susan earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction – STEM from Texas Tech University, her M.Ed. from National University, and a BS in Biological Sciences (Ecology) from San Francisco State University. She holds teaching credentials in California and Washington and has been a middle school and high school science teacher, science department chair, grant facilitator, and curriculum writer.  Additionally, Susan has an extensive background in client relationship building, project management, and business development.

In her personal life, she competes at the local, national, and international levels in the sport of dog agility and enjoys the outdoors with her dogs.
