We just received our materials from Lab-Aids. Where should I start?

  • Confirm you have received all intended materials. A packing list will be included on your shipment to compare against. Please note that there may be several boxes/shipments for your order based on material warehouse location and availability.  
  • Note any discrepancies or missing/damaged items and contact customerservice@lab-aids.com with the details and pictures (as applicable) .

How do I use the digital resources for Issues and Science?

Is there a way to connect with other teachers using Issues and Science?

  • Join our Facebook group to connect with other new and seasoned Issues and Science teachers. Our staff is also in the group to support you if needed.  
  • We also have a monthly webinar created just for new users – you can join any time.  
  • The Summer Academy is a great way to meet other Issues and Science teachers from around the country while taking a deep dive into the program with our expert Professional Learning staff.  

I’m teaching a unit that uses live materials. How do I order those?

  • Live materials need to be requested via the certificates that are included in your equipment package. To redeem the certificates in your equipment kit, fill out the details and send the completed certificate to customerservice@lab-aids.com.  When completing the requested delivery date field, please allow for 2 weeks’ lead time.  
    • Please note that the live materials will only ship out on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays with expedited shipping. We will work with your information noted on the certificate to ensure the materials arrive as close to your requested timeframe following these shipping guidelines as well as material availability. 
    • Additionally, live material shipments are sensitive. As such, if there are below freezing or drastic weather conditions, the live materials may need to be delayed to ensure proper quality when they arrive to you. If any such delay is identified, a member of our team will be in contact with you to inform you of the delay. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
